A Night at Crown Isle – Capturing the Heart of a Golf Community
There’s just something special about Crown Isle. Whether it’s the golden light spilling across the greens, the mountains framing the horizon, or the laughter echoing from the clubhouse—this place just feels like home.
I recently had the chance to film during the final night of Men’s Night at Crown Isle, and it was the perfect opportunity to showcase not only the beauty of this incredible Vancouver Island golf course, but also the spirit of the community that surrounds it. From the friendly rivalries to the post-round celebrations, every shot told a story of passion, camaraderie, and the shared love of the game.
Growing up here in the Valley, I still remember when they were first building the course—it was such a big deal at the time. Now, it’s hard to imagine the Comox Valley without it. Crown Isle has become such a fixture in our community, a place where memories are made and stories unfold year after year.
As someone who’s been doing Comox videography for a while, it’s moments like these that remind me why I love what I do—capturing the energy, the laughter, and the connections that make this community so unique.
This project was extra special for me because last year’s Men’s Night video was one of my very first projects with Hometown Creative. Fast forward to now, and it’s awesome to be creating regular content for such an important local organization. Crown Isle isn’t just a golf course—it’s a hub for so many amazing things in our community: the resort, the dining, the real estate, and the charitable events that make a real impact here on the Island. 🌲💙
It’s been an incredible journey so far, and I can’t wait to keep telling more of these stories—celebrating the people, the places, and the experiences that make Vancouver Island videography so rewarding.
Here’s to many more evenings under those Crown Isle sunsets. 🌅🏌️♂️
