Coastal Black’s Pumpkin Fest — A Vancouver Island Fall Tradition 🎃🍂
Every fall, something pretty special happens up in Black Creek — the Ludwig family transforms their beautiful Coastal Black property into one of Vancouver Island’s most loved autumn events: Pumpkin Fest.
This year, I had the pleasure of filming the event, capturing all the laughter, colour, and cozy fall vibes that make it so magical. As a Vancouver Island videographer, it’s hard not to feel inspired when you’re surrounded by happy families, fields of pumpkins, and the kind of community spirit that defines small-town life here. 🎥✨
What really blows me away every year is how much heart the Ludwig family puts into it. This isn’t just a weekend project — it’s a month-long labour of love. Every member of their family, including the kids, works tirelessly all October to bring joy to families from all over the Island. From wagon rides and petting zoos to the food, decorations, and festive atmosphere — there truly is nothing else like it on Vancouver Island. 🎃💛
Pumpkin Fest is a reminder of what makes this community so special — families coming together, hard work paying off, and a whole lot of fall magic. I’m already looking forward to next year! 🍁🙌
