Inspired by Courage: Capturing She Speaks in Comox
I had the honour of creating a video for the recent She Speaks event here in Comox, and I’m still thinking about the incredible energy in the room. Hearing these women step forward and share honest, unfiltered stories about leadership, motherhood, money, alignment, and the invisible pressures so many carry was truly inspiring. The courage and vulnerability in each talk created such a powerful atmosphere of connection and reflection — it was one of those nights that reminds you how impactful storytelling can be.
As someone working in Comox videography, capturing moments like this is exactly why I love what I do. Being able to document such meaningful conversations and the strength of this community of women was a real privilege. Huge thanks to everyone who shared their stories and helped make this evening so memorable. 👏
