Wearable Art Meets Nature: Filming North West By Nature in the Comox Valley
Sometimes things just click! That was exactly the case when I met Jamie, owner of North West by Nature. We instantly connected over our love for nature, creativity, and a shared approach to running our businesses with intention 🌲✨. Within days, Hometown Creative was already rolling on her Comox Valley video project because we couldn’t wait to get started.
Jamie creates “wearable art” that inspires West Coasters to get outside and embrace every season—rain, snow, or sunshine 🌦️❄️☀️. So when it came time to film her brand story, we knew this Vancouver Island video had to capture her in her element. The timing couldn’t have been better: golden fall leaves throughout the Comox Valley and fresh snow dusting the mountains 🏞️ — the kind of natural contrast that makes Vancouver Island video production so visually powerful.
In just two weeks, we filmed across stunning West Coast landscapes, creating the perfect backdrop to showcase her products while sharing Jamie's deep passion for the environment and her community. Projects like this are why I love creating Comox Valley video stories — it’s about more than visuals. It’s about connection, authenticity, and building trust through real storytelling.
This Hometown Creative production is a perfect example of how Vancouver Island video can bring a brand to life in a way that feels grounded, inspiring, and true to place. When story, setting, and purpose align, you don’t just make a video — you create something people feel.
